I have been attending team breakthrough after a recommendation from a friend in January 2018. I signed up because I had a skiing holiday booked and severe back pain and the two don’t go together!!
Initially we spent time focusing on my posture and back exercises and gradually moved into weight circuits. This was good but it lost some of the focus on my pain management. Carl had a long conversation with me at one of these sessions to try and understand my real motivation for coming. Whilst it is perfectly obvious that I could do with losing weight my lifestyle and work are pretty hectic and I’m not prepared to put the (heroic!) effort into to achieve that (yet!). What Carl really did was identify that my motivation of the day is to stop being in daily pain and for the last five weeks he has focussed very significantly on my back pain. The results have been fantastic and for the first time in about three years I’m not waking up every morning barely able to move! I have seen Osteo’s but they have not been any where near this effective. I still have some pain but it is hugely reduced and I hope that it will get even better as I continue with the core and posture exercises. Carl is extremely technical and explains everything beautifully so that not only does it make sense but I feel I am doing the exercises correctly for maximum effect.
I also enjoy chatting to Carl as he makes me suffer and I do keep coming back…..
